At Madri, we believe in challenging the norms of traditional jewellery design by creating unique, exceptional pieces that are representative of our clients' individuality. Our founder, Madri Hopkins, is a talented South African jewellery designer who has years of experience in creating designer jewellery that combines fine jewellery with artful expression.

Madri's passion for creative design was ignited during her studies at the University of Stellenbosch in Creative Jewellery Design and Metal Techniques, where she was nominated as a semi-finalist in the Anglo Gold Jewellery competition before graduating. Her talent continued to be recognized after graduation, and her jewellery was exhibited at prestigious events such as the Design Indaba exhibition and 100% Designs in Johannesburg.

Madri's bespoke neck piece was chosen by 'Southern Guild' for their exhibition titled 'A New Wave' in Cape Town, and it was also displayed at the 'New Wave Exhibition' in Johannesburg. In 2021, she was a Professional Category finalist at South Africa Jewellery Week.
